Maging guidelines -
- Everyone in the wizarding world are born with magic powers. - Similarly to languages, a child can lose the ability to use magic if he/she is not exposed to and does not practice magic. - If a child can cast magic, he/she can cast basic spells. - Simple ward - can block basic magic but breaks upon impact.
- Simple healing - can heal minor wounds and sprains relatively quickly.
- Simple immobility - can disable only a few lower tiered creatures for a short amount of time.
- Simple astral projections - can leave body to heal quicker but radius of exploration is limited.
- As children grow older, they concentrate in a certain field of magic. - Simple spells can be cast without a wand. - Intermediate and advanced spells have to be casted with a wand or staff. - Staves handle the widest range of magic. - Staves make intermediate magic casting easier. - Wands make advanced magic casting harder. - Those who specialize in their field could do intermediate and a handful of advanced magic without magic tools. - Wizards restore mana with food, meditation especially in nature, sex, etc. ----Depending on sun or moon alignment, wizards can restore mana quickly during the day or night.
